Vital-Beacon™ combines motion sensing, motion-classification, temperature, wear-state detection, LTE, and BLE connectivity into a compact wearable platform. This architecture is designed to support fall detection, daily wear, caregiver communication, and emergency escalation in one integrated system.

Motion Sensing

Continuously monitors movement patterns to help recognize sudden or unusual changes in activity. This information supports the device's intelligent fall-detection process.

Impact Detection

Identifies high-force events that may indicate a fall or hard impact. The system evaluates impact data together with motion and orientation signals to reduce false alerts.

Rotation & Orientation

Tracks changes in body position and wrist orientation before, during, and after a suspected fall. This helps distinguish everyday movements from potentially serious events.

Wear-State Awareness

Designed to recognize whether the device is being worn, removed, or placed on its charger. Wear-state information helps improve monitoring accuracy and avoid unnecessary alerts.

Temperature Sensing

Monitors skin-adjacent temperature trends as an additional contextual signal. It is intended to support device awareness and is not a substitute for a standard thermometer.

LTE + BLE Communication

Built-in LTE allows the device to send alerts directly to caregivers and supported emergency services; no smartphone or cellular phone is required nearby. Bluetooth Low Energy supports secure setup, nearby configuration, and device management.

Location & Geofencing

Built-in GNSS and LTE allow safety zones to be established without requiring a nearby smartphone. Caregivers can receive alerts when the wearer enters or leaves a designated area, subject to location accuracy and cellular availability.

Many single-device wearables leave users unprotected while the device is charging. Vital-Beacon™ is designed as a two-device system, allowing one device to remain in use while the other charges. This helps reduce protection gaps and supports more continuous daily coverage.
